Parish Life

The heart of a parish is the Eucharist, but the parish family is the body that makes it a unique and vibrant community with an exciting parish life. Our parish offers a variety of ways to be part of that communal family in addition to the celebration of the sacraments.

St. Vincent de Paul

In today’s Gospel we find that God is a God of the living, and this is indeed the core of our hope. Jesus has risen and is with us, therefore, at no time should we be without hope for the future.

St. Vincent de Paul’s semi-annual Food Drive begins today. Please take home a bag, fill it and bring it back next week. A truck will be available to receive you food donation. Please be generous; our pantry is bare.

Mission Bell PreSchool

Community helpers is our theme during the month of November. I love this month’s focus questions. They’ll give our little saints an opportunity to ponder these 4 topics:
∗ What are the places in our community?
∗ Who are the people in our community?
∗ How can we help our community
∗ What is the world community?
With the prior themes, our math focus introduced us to patterning and one-to-one correspondence. In November, we will explore measurable attributes. I wish you could be a fly on the MBPS walls. We have the best time conversing with our saints during our math centers! Lots to discuss for sure!
Due to the timeline for turning in our bulletins, I previously extended my gratitude to all in attendance at our recent Gala. Now that our special event has happened, allow me to say thank you again! We had the ultimate best time! Thanks to all who attended, relaxed, enjoyed and supported our only Catholic Preschool in the Antelope Valley! It was indeed a fun, fun time! And a gigantanormously really big thank you to all SJSP Parishioners who supported our Trike-a-Thon last week!
You ROCK!!!

Blessings and thanks for your support!
Miss Cheryl and the MBPS crew
